Derrk Phone

After getting some of the basics of Blender down, I had to try my hand at some 3D product renders. Finding Derrk on YouTube, there was something about his style that I anticipated mimicking. I couldn’t wait to approach some of his styles as they fit the aesthetic I appreciate. Maybe it’s my Swedish influence for clean and simple design? I just absolutely loved doing this illustration as it built on top of what I learned doing the Crossmind Seven Day Tutorials.

After modeling the phone and setting up the animations. I learned a few more tips and tricks from Derrk Elliot that I had not picked up, and I was amazed at the export from EVEE! Though the renders aren’t exactly what I would hope for, they are pretty good quality for the time it takes to render. Something to keep in your back pocket if you are in a pinch to deliver some good-looking renders for minimal time investment.
